Darwin supports three deployment targets:
  • Darwin Cloud is the standard managed deployment.
  • Darwin Private Cloud provides a dedicated managed environment.
  • Self-hosted is available only to approved enterprise customers.
The public API can inspect deployment state and submit deployment-requests. It never mutates infrastructure directly. Darwin’s control plane reviews and fulfills each request.

Choose a target

The deployment target does not change the AI’s public identity or resource model. Permissions, goals, conversations, approvals, wallet controls, and audit history remain consistent across supported targets.

Request changes

Submit a deployment request rather than mutating deployment state. The request records the desired target and configuration, then enters Darwin’s review and provisioning workflow. Until a request is fulfilled, clients should continue displaying the current deployment projection. A submitted request is not proof that infrastructure has changed.

Security boundary

Public responses expose the deployment mode and sanitized readiness state. They do not expose infrastructure credentials, private network topology, provider project identifiers, or runtime implementation details.
